Road Bike Skills Clinics

FREE Road Bike Skills Clinics with Olympian Scott Mercier

Ride and learn from Scott Mercier, a former U.S. Olympian, professional cyclist, and one of Colorado’s most accomplished road racers. Scott represented Team USA at the 1992 Barcelona Olympics in the team time trial and was a National Team Time Trial Champion. During his professional career, he competed internationally with the Saturn and U.S. Postal Service professional teams and earned major victories including overall wins at the Tour de Toona, Giro del Capo, and Rapport Toer. Scott was also recognized as one of the top climbers in the prestigious Tour DuPont and raced alongside some of the biggest names in professional cycling during the sport’s golden era.

These clinics are designed to help riders build confidence, improve safety, and develop stronger group riding skills in a supportive environment.

FREE Mountain Bike Skills Clinics with Nicolette Jones

Come ride and learn from Nicolette Jones — one of the most accomplished endurance mountain bikers in the country. Nicolette is the 2024 and 2025 women’s winner of the legendary Colorado Trail Race, setting a new women’s course record in 2025 with a sub-5-day finish over 540 miles and more than 74,000 feet of climbing. She is also believed to be the only person to have hiked, skied, and biked the entire Colorado Trail. In addition to competing in elite endurance events including the Grand Loop, Vapor Trail 125, and Arizona Trail Race, Nicolette brings a passion for adventure, resilience, and backcountry riding that inspires athletes of all levels.

These beginner-friendly clinics will focus on foundational mountain bike skills, rider confidence, and trail technique.

Cooper brings extensive experience working on modern mountain, gravel, road, and e-bikes, with expertise in trailside repairs, brake systems, and keeping bikes running smoothly in demanding Colorado riding conditions. These clinics are designed to give riders practical, real-world mechanical skills and the confidence to handle common issues both at home and on the trail.
