It is with great disappointment that we are writing to inform you that due to low registration numbers, the Aspen Cycling Club is cancelling the Gravel Gran Fondo on Saturday, June 25. Since this was designed as a fundraising event to broaden our community outreach, we cannot financially put on an event of this size without adequate participation. The ACC truly appreciates your support, and you will be refunded your registration fees. If you prefer to transfer your registration as a tax-deductible donation instead, please reply to this email.
As we quickly shift gears, we have partnered with Colorado Mountain College, Spring Valley to host the inaugural Spring Valley Scramble mountain bike race on their new course on Saturday, August 20, 2022. This is a very exciting venture that brings together multiple community partners, and the course will be the venue for the Colorado High School League State Championships in late October. We are planning to offer categories from strider races to Men’s and Women’s Open, and will be an all day family friendly event with lots of raffle prizes. Stay tuned for more information.
